We're Moving!

I can tell the world.

Tim is opening his own martial arts program back home and we are nervous and excited and sad all wrapped in one.

Today, my neice Lizzie joined me in Tim's last day at work teaching karate. The manager was kind enough to allow Lizzie to join class. Watching 3 and 4 year olds do karate is the best thing ever.

Here are some funny things she said throughout the day:

While walking up to our apartment, "Stairs are boring."

Me: Take a couple bites of your donut then jump into class.
Lizzie: (takes exactly three bites and gives it back to me)
Me: Oh, you don't want any more?
Lizzie: A couple is three.
Me: ...(impressed) Who told you that?
Lizzie: Myself.

Lizzie: What are you guys doing?
Me: I'm clipping Tim's fingernails.
Lizzie: Why?
Me: Well, he can't really do it himself, he's only got one arm.
Lizzie: (Very seriously) For real?
(Tim's arm is in a cast since he had surgery)

And when coloring cotton candy:
Me: Here's a Papa Mickey sized one.
Lizzie: Here's a daddy sized one. Here's a Jesus sized one!

This girl is way too funny. We had a blast this morning.

The worst part about moving is leaving your friends behind. We've gotten so much love and encouragement from everyone that it's really hard to leave, but we can't wait to make new friends and see old friends back in our hometown!
